We have served our local community for over 18 years, previously as New Look News and presently as a franchise of WHSmith Local & the Post Office. Despite the national brand names, we are a small independent family-run business, and we recognise that the Post Office is a vital service to many in our community. At this critical time we know people will be concerned about banking services, topping up pre-paid energy meters & mobile phones, as well as accessing other essential Post Office, convenience & newsagent products.
Further to the most recent announcement from the Prime Minister, and recognising that both Post Offices and Newsagents are considered to be essential shops, we remain OPEN. We have however taken a decision to reduce our opening hours so that we can protect our hard-working and dedicated colleagues as well as our much-valued customers. We ask that all customers only visit us for essential services during these new times. Our key priority is to allow colleagues to do their job in a safe and healthy environment, and for the community to have access to our services. We have a number of strict measures in place when you visit us to keep everyone safe, so please follow them.
We are extremely proud of all our colleagues, who are continuing to do an outstanding job under extremely difficult circumstances so that customers can still visit us if they need to. Our final message to everyone is Please only visit us if you need to, and keep safe.
Our opening hours as of Wednesday 25th March will be as follows:
Monday – Friday
Saturday
Sunday
7.30am – 2pm
7.30am – 1pm
CLOSED – Although we will be still delivering Sunday newspapers. If you would like to get your paper delivered place an order online.
Our opening hours are under constant review so please check online or give us a call before making a special trip.
